| This section is filled with stories of how God has used
these Bible lessons around the world. The sections listed by countries
show where our family has gone personally to share these lessons. The
Basic Bible set of lessons has been printed in Russian, Iban for Borneo,
Spanish, and English. Over 10,000 copies have been printed and handed out
in Russia that we know of. More have been assembled in the Russian
speaking countries by public school teachers themselves.
The first web site was set up in 1997 with black and white pictures which could be downloaded for coloring. Preschools, Kindergartens, home schools, Sunday schools and Sabbath Schools have used these. Over 150,000 visitors came to the web site. These came from over one hundred countries. When the web server was bought out by another company, difficulties were met because the new server never responded to our questions by phone or email or letter. The password and user name questions were never answered. Finally they dumped all our thousands of hours of files. We decided to praise God and start over with a better site in color, with Scripture music and video clips added. As Tyndale said when his Bible translations were burned, he would make a better one next time. That courage comes from God. When these lessons were first designed in 1992, the author tried to find an artist to help with illustrations. The cost was too much. She decided to look to God to put His hand on hers, and do the best possible. With quick sketches done from snap shots of her own experience, the lessons came together.
She had clipped wings. How she made it past the dogs and into the fenced area around the pool is a mystery. She was very shy at first then allowed the kids to hold her and feed her.

time passed she would sass the dog and snatch food from him. He was on a
chain and she knew just how far he could lunge.
She would also tap on the window and beg for bread. |
 The
children had so much fun feeding her, that the pool became filled with
bread and other unwanted materials.
We put up with the inconvenience during the work of making the lessons. After three months the lessons were finally finished. It was snowing and the pool iced over. She came in for landing and slid all the way to the end of the pool. Her antics were were a continual source of laughter. With the completion of lessons, she was gone. We never saw her again. Yet her memory is with us forever. What a special hug from God she brought us. He made a statement to us of His support and help by making this miracle. |

One
night after all four little children were in bed, the drawing of a duck in
heaven was not looking right. The duck looked too sick to live in heaven.
Discouragement and fatigue swept over the author. She was about to crush
the picture and start over when she decided to go to bed instead. The next
morning a duck visitor was at the pool. Many rolls of film later, and the
right duck appeared in the lessons.
