Snow Flakes are falling in our part of the world

Dec 29

Every drop of rain or flake of snow, every spire of grass, every leaf and flower and shrub, testifies of God. These little things so common around us teach the lesson that nothing is beneath the notice of the infinite God, nothing is too small for His attention. {FLB 28.4}

One action repeated

and a habit is formed

Let's make Bible study a habit

Patient continuance in well-doing--this is to be our motto. We are to put forth persevering effort, advancing step by step until the race is run, the victory gained. {7T 235.3}

Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
38:23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
Footprints of Patches with ice crystals about them.  (pet cocker spaniel)
Iced over puddles. Kids love stomping in these.

In Texas there is a saying expressing anger. They say they will come over and "stomp a mud hole".

Isaiah1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

They had to crawl across or they sank in too far. They needed snow shoes.

Iced over puddle looks like a puzzle having frozen in circles. Young trees
Psalms 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

One brick upon another, and the
highest wall is made;
One flake upon another, and the deepest snow is laid.--7T 233-235.

This is a perfect object lesson of persistence.

It was breath taking. Each new angle with the camera showed up more sparkling lights of rainbow colors.

Colors bounced in all directions. It was 20 minutes before sunset and the ice cycle was alive with color.
